Yesterday I received a travel backpack that I ordered from Zappos.com.  I opened the box to find not only an awesome backpack, but also a can of Red Bull.  I laughed out loud.  Apparently the folks over at Zappos had a sense I was in need of a little added energy.  Thanks guys.  The bubble wrap was a nice touch.

Bring on the rain

We've been having a lot of cold cold weather here lately.  There's been snow on the ground at our place for a week now. While the streets have been devoid of snow for several days, I am tired of icy morning roads and frosted car windows.  This morning I got up to the heavenly sound of rain drops on our roof.  Much appreciated.

Today is January 1st, 2011. 

This is the year I've decided to try my hand at the 365 project: a single unique photo every day until 2012. Some photos will be from my pro camera, some from my point and shoot, and no doubt several from my iPhone.  There is no theme, there are no limits, and absolutely no expectations. Unlike The Sope Box, this blog will most likely just be photos.  If you're looking for all of the whit, charm and hilarity you're used to, I do apologize.  I'll try to come up with some clever photo titles to make up for it.  As usual, I'm already talking too much...
